Sarah holds a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Disorders from Ohio State University and an M.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston. Since graduating, Sarah has received invaluable professional experience working in schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and home health agencies with clients ranging in age from 1 to 103 years of age.
Sarah’s primary focus for therapy intervention is language, pragmatics and dysphagia (swallowing disorders). She is Vital Stim certified, which allows her to combine traditional swallow therapy exercises in conjunction with electrical stimulation to weakened facial and throat muscles.
Along with loving her career choice and current job setting, Sarah adores her two “spoiled rotten” poodles and exploring the diverse land, activities and people that make up New Mexico.
